The E-Goes Joyrider Folding Electric Wheelchair is an ultra lightweight, compact, foldable and transportable powerchair. It has a minimalist design, folds easily and separates into two parts in a matter of seconds.
Before folding, the Joyrider’s motor unit can be removed, keeping the heaviest part just 8.6kg! This makes it much easier to lift into and out of the car boot.
The Joyrider Powerchair offers superb manoeuvrability in tight spaces, with the ability to turn on its own axis, and the ergonomic joystick gives you full control over direction and speed. Two brushless electric motors which provide a total of 400 watts which is enough to power the Joyrider up to 10 degree inclines with ease.
An electromagnetic braking system ensures that the powerchair stops as soon as the joystick is released, preventing you from rolling forwards or backwards. Anti-tip wheels mounted to the rear give added reassurance on inclines and PU solid tyres both front and rear avoid punctures while out and about.
Airline approved batteries make the Joyrider Electric Wheelchair an ideal travel companion and charging is made easy with on-board and off-board options, with a total charging time of 4.5-5.5 hours.
Another great feature is the swinging footrest which allows you to get nice and close to the chair before sitting down, making transferring on and off the powerchair much easier!
