The LEJRELET Pad High is a rectangular pressure relief cushion for a variety of positions.

Key Features

  • Like the LEJRELET Wedge, it is also modelled from an anatomical view of the thorax and pelvis to provide optimal support.
  • It can be used for several positioning techniques; if, for example, it is used for supporting the leg in a lateral position, the hip flexion is kept neutral. This prevents lumbar rotation, compression in the hip joint and stretching of the joint capsule.
  • The LEJRELET Pad High can be used in conjunction with other LEJRELET cushions, including the Wedge, for greater versatility.

Product Information

  • The LEJRELET Pad High is a rectangular pressure relief cushion for a variety of positions. The height of the Pad High cushion is half the average adult hip width. This means that when used to support the upper leg in a lateral position, the individual will have a neutral hip position – avoiding compression in the hip joint and providing stability, comfort and pressure relief. This pressure relief cushion supports a variety of positions, including the leg in a lateral position, the leg during lower hygiene tasks and the arm in a lateral position. The LEJRELET Pad High can also be placed under the individual’s legs in a supine position to offload pressure from the heels. The LEJRELET Pad High cushion is made with a core of polyurethane foam covered by a 20mm layer of viscoelastic memory foam. This gives the cushion the necessary firmness and support, whilst still providing flexibility and comfort for pressure relief.
